A quick-access reference compiled from your server architecture queries.

🐧 Linux Nginx Paths

  • Main Config: /etc/nginx/nginx.conf
  • Ubuntu Sites: /etc/nginx/sites-available/
  • RHEL/CentOS Sites: /etc/nginx/conf.d/

🐧 Linux Apache Paths

  • Debian/Ubuntu Main: /etc/apache2/apache2.conf
  • RHEL/CentOS Main: /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf
  • Default Web Root: /var/www/html/

🪟 Windows IIS Paths

  • App Level: C:\inetpub\wwwroot\YourApp\web.config
  • Global .NET 64-bit: %SystemRoot%\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\...
  • Server Core Config: C:\Windows\System32\inetsrv\config\

💡 Configuration Tips

  • Always back up configuration files before making edits.
